Insurance

We are always expanding our partnerships with insurance plans. You can find some of the major plans we work with here. When you schedule your appointment here we will do our best to match you to providers that accept your insurance.
Yes, Valera accepts Medicare.
Insurance plan copayments vary depending on your specific plan. You can call the number on the back of your insurance card to verify your copayment rates.
A plan with a higher deductible than a traditional insurance plan. The monthly premium is usually lower, but you pay more health care costs yourself before the insurance company starts to pay its share (also called your deductible).

A high deductible plan can be combined with a health savings account (HSA), for you to pay for certain medical expenses with money you set aside in your tax-free HSA. This is why it’s more commonly called an HSA-eligible plan.

Questions About our Services

There will be a $50 penalty applied to no-show appointments and cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment. This penalty applies to patientclients with commercial insurance as well as those who elect self-pay. Penalty fees do not apply to rescheduled appointments or cancelled appointments if more than 48 hours notice is provided.
Our providers treat patients 12 and up.
We provide services to those in Colorado*, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Vermont and Washington state.

* Note for Colorado (CO): This is a special partnership between Valera Health and CCHA. Valera Health is able to serve CCHA clients in collaboration with their PCP, and match them with a mental health provider to suit their needs in a timely manner. For more information or to refer a patient to us, visit valerahealth.com/ccha.
No, we do not offer couples therapy at this time.
We do not offer psychological testing at this time.
No, our services are exclusively virtual at this time.
Yes! Right now we offer group therapy to residents of New York and Massachusetts only. You can learn more about our Group therapy programs here.
