Our Program

A YST therapist helps youth choose two to four “caring adults” (with guardian approval) and invites those adults for the youth.
We make it easy for the youth to build a team!

Adults attend weekly sessions with their YST team from their favorite device.
These sessions help the adult to understand the youth’s challenges and teaches them ways to help reduce suicide risk.

Adults meet with the youth regularly over three months.
This can be in fun, casual ways by phone, text, online or in person.
They help the youth cope with their difficulties and encourage their treatment.

Our Licensed Teletherapists

We pair your teen and their adults with a licensed clinician best suited to their location and needs.

Specialized in suicide intervention and young adult care, our diverse team of full-time licensed clinicians also provide expertise in associated mental health challenges including stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and related issues such as sexuality, gender identity, and discrimination.

“We’ve done a lot of programs for our child to help her stay alive. This one is the first to help us create a net of safe people that she can talk to and know that she matters… there’s hope and resources where there hadn’t been before.”     YST Support Team Adult
