Insurance plan copayments vary depending on your specific plan. You can call the number on the back of your insurance card to verify your copayment rates.
In addition, as the emergency copayment waviers put into place due to the COVID-19 pandemic are expiring, please check with your insurance provider to learn more about the policies they may be changing as a result.
We accept all major credit cards.
The health connector will take your payment information during your consultation, when your initial appointment is booked. For self pay patients or patients on commercial insurances, you must have a credit card on file to cover any copays or costs associated with your sessions. You will be billed per visit.
All patients with a Medicaid plan will not be required to have payment information on file.
There will be a $50 penalty applied to no-show appointments and cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment. This penalty applies to clients with commercial insurance as well as those who self-pay. Penalty fees do not apply to rescheduled appointments or cancelled appointments if more than 48 hours notice is provided.
When you sign up for a consult you will meet with a health connector who will work with you to understand what you need and match you with an appropriate provider.
Valera Health therapists are highly-trained, licensed mental health professionals with expertise in a variety of evidence-based therapy models, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychoanalysis, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care.
If you need help with medications, you will be matched with a psychiatric nurse practitioner or psychiatrist.
We offer televideo (remote) and in-person options for care. If you’re seeing your provider through televideo, you can join your session from any location that is private, safe, and is in the state in which your provider is licensed. Our provider matching process assigns you a provider who is licensed in the state you live and/or work in. You must be physically in the state your provider is licensed during your session.
You have the option of televideo visits on your phone using our Valera health app or a computer.
If you are impacted by a power or internet outage, we ask that you contact your provider on the Valera app or email them directly letting them know you need to reschedule your session.
